     I signed,

perhaps whats really going on is that this public self server does what most pollies do,

Make a dumb fuck stupid decision so they can leave there mark on history just so they can get there egos scratched   by giving themselves another exuse to have another media conference and directly beside this wanker will be his proffessional head nodder.

Then is he going to ban all dark colours on low slung sports cars such as lamborgini, lotus, aston martins, ect or is it going to be law that all cars are painted in high visibility paint,

I hope all members of this forum sign. Once in in Vic, you can bet qld will line up to pass this law as well. Even Cambell newman needs to give his head nodders something to do.

I am going to be unpopular here and say that the Hi Vis clothing is a good idea because there are so many stupid people driving cars who kill bike riders every week because they cant drive for shit and dont know how to check their mirrors .    However, making it mandatory is not a great idea because it starts to force draconian rules on people/bikers, and if the clothes rule starts, whats rule is next ?

Clothing should be up to the individual. Personally, I would not ride a black bike with all black clothing/leathers and a black helmet, because it is extremely a hard colur to see etc,and becoming a temporary australian and finding myself at the local morgue cause some idiot didnt see me because of dark clothing would be alot worse than having something on Hi Vis etc.(its like all building sites/mining sites etc, Hi Vis is mandatory so people can be seen and dont get killed)

but I would wear at least a Hi Vis helmet, or something Hi Vis, but not everything Hi Vis ofcourse. Maybe the government could meet half way, and make say only the helmet Hi Vis rather than all clothing. If it saves people from dying every week on motorbikes, a compromise cant be that bad surely ?

Any one else think a compromise is better than the govts everything hi vis rule/proposal ?

and reply on line to the roadsafety.vic.gov.au survey (Herald Sun today 5/9/12) and send a big fuck you to hi vis clothing and front number plates (question 8).  Nothing more than a money grabbing prejudice continuing against motorcyclists.

     IM VERY FUCKEN DISSAPOINTED

in the response the the petition to stop the hi vis clothing crap.

I would of thought that the HDForums website would of gone into meltdown cause tens of thousands of harley, jap, italian and even fucken scooter riders would be on website signing petition.

Reminds me of when organisations fight for better wages and conditions and an improvement in safety, but many people dont join those organisations but are the first to put there grubby little hands out and take the pay rise. And sadly, Queensland is full of them.

The stupid rules and regulations and loss of rights are not the fault of the government self servers. There our fault. yes,you and me. they only get these rules through cause most people wont put there name to something and stand up and fight for there rights cause there scared to put there name to anything. And the government knows this.It would be nice if more harleys riders showed a bit of true grit and actually lived the image there trying to project.

Of course we can stop this regulation becoming law.

    PROOF

A gay bloke and a few long haired hippies tied themselves to a tree and caused the movement to grow to the point, they stopped the franklin dam and caused a change of government in Tasmania. Even though the majority of the public didnt support them. And no, im not a greens suporter and i dont know if what they acheived was good for Tasmania or not. The point is, they did it cause they stood up and put there name to something.

Pauline Hanson had had enough of the bullshit and stood up. Her problem was she wasnt a teflon coated carreer self server politition and naturally the media crucified her and as usual, the public beleives whatever Rupert Murdoc tells them to beleive. I voted for her, not cause of her policy, but cause she had the tenacity to stand up against the the two party self servers.

Of course, i agree with hi vis clothing in the work place, and posties wearing it cause they often ride on the footpath, ect, which is there workplace. Riding bikes in your time in public is not your workplace. Its your leisure, lifestyle, ect

    NOTE TO QUEENSLANDERS

I dont feel sorry one little bit for the 20,000 plus public servants getting sacked cause not one of you pricks stood up against the premier and had a say, You voted for who Rupert told you too, cause you beleived all the crap his papers printed. Ooops queenslanders, ya did it again.

Please can all riders of any motorcycle brand please consider and sign this petition.

and please sign because its what we want, not what the self server tells you, you need.
