I asked this question in the Softail Forum and didn't get much of a response.

Does anybody run them and if so what brand and where did you get them.

I was after some for my Luxe, not sure on coloured variety or not,

Spoke to some bloke at John Stamnas, who was as helpful as a blocked arsehole!

Them seen to have all the fruity colours or good Ol black or clear coat, but after the root around I got from them, I anit phone them back.

Tried VPW, but it looks theirs are just a straight lenght you need to buy and hope you measured correctly.

    Cheers,

Got mine from motorcycleracegear.com.au and cannot fault the service and quality at all. HEL braided line for my Iron (800mm) was under $100 delivered.

i used a factory one, (diamond black braided) it also ensures that my bike remains roadworthy, whichever brand you buy make sure it complies with relevant ADR's or it will be another thing the cops can do you for.

Cheers Will - PK2, they where most helpful, he's even going to his local HD dealer in Melbourne to check out the ABS system mount up and get back to me.

terroristone, Still keeping Frasers in Mind, HEL range are ADR so all good, but thanks mate,

Hay Mickle, I though that was for some of the rubber hosing, blue marking from memory, but, pays to check. Cheers,

Cheers Crowy, waiting on them to get back to me, re ABS, seems as tho the ABS has moved the goal posts for the suppliers.

Are you sure your bike does not have braided steel hoses as stock ?

They are covered in black plasticised coating so they don't stand out and have been fitted from 2008

on ALL models i think ?

My 2007 FXSTC didn't have them and my 2008 FXSTC does.

Unless you're looking for the "shiny type" and i've missed that.

What model year is it ?

    That's why I asked mate

You would only change them for "silver braided" or similar, but why would you bother ?

Some folks do it to match the brake lines to silver braid clutch cables etc etc

A cNut of a job and the DOT4 brake fluid is as corrosive as to paint so why take the risk ?

    Well now i know

I thought all Softails came with steel lines since 2008 ? And redesigned calipers by Brembo.

Quite good brakes actually especially with lyndall brake pads installed

The lines are black plastic covered so don't jump out at ya so to speak.
