    Just finished the HID install.
WOW!!! What an incredible difference in lighting.
    Also did the Hi/Lo mod.

    Some pic's and description.

Ballasts mounted inside the airbox. The ballasts came with a tag and a 3mm tapped hole. I drilled them and tapped to 4mm. Stuck some sticky backed padding/tape on the backs of the ballasts for a little bit of vibration suppression.
Made tags to hold the back section of the ballasts in place.

Drilled holes in each front corner of the airbox base to run the cables through. Slotted them with a hacksaw blade and then installed the grommets that came with the HID kits.

Fed the ignitors and lamp connectors through into the areas under the air intake covers.

Cut the small 3 way lighting harness in the centre.

Fed the black and red ballast supply wires through to the front left area where the original lighting harness plug/connector is located. Cut, soldered and heatshrunk/sealed as required.

Wasn't working your video hquick, did it again for you.

By the way nice Job, Are the standard reflectors inside the light housing good enough for the HID Globes?

    Thanks man...on both accounts.
The reflector seems to be fine. The difference is incredible. Well worth doing.

Maybe I have a different kit but I installed mine without cutting the OEM harness

They can be installed just by plugging the pins on the light harnesses supplied into the OEM lamp sockets. I chose to do a more permanent job. The loom I cut up was literally the one in the pic. A plug which plugs into the main loom...and two lamp sockets.
