Hey guys I have 07 street bob have just fitted a spike air cleaner with k&n filter it has ss slip ons at moment just wanted to no if I need a power commander or not  cheers

What would be recommended I'm new to injection not sure if like it yet

Hey Twitch,
I too own an 07 Street Bob, only done the pipes/filter mod as well. Had a FuelPak in there but it didn't feel right. The throttle didn't have very good response, it was a bit poppy etc so I took it to Pro Cycles in Slacks Creek, ended up replacing the Fuelpak with a Power Commander as it can be programmed more thoroughly with dyno info etc. The bike just wasn't running very well with the Map from Fuelpak, I had it adjusted a number of times but it still wasn't right. The lads at Pro Cycles are highly respected so I took their advice and that was to go with the power commander. The bike will be going on the Dyno tomorrow to be tuned up. I went for rideability as opposed to maximum HP and all that.... maybe a little later I think

It doesn't have to go on the Dyno, I just wanted the bike to be running real smooth so I thought fuck it, get a full service, a good going over, fix any issues and then start from scratch again. I bought my bob 2nd hand so it's kind of peace of mind too. Once again, if you've only done the pipes/air cleaner changes then no, it doesn't have to go on the Dyno. Dyno is for specific tuning. Each bike is different, it's about getting your bike running at its optimum.

Yep TTS for me.  I have done mine and a mates, and like above, once you get your head around it, it comes easy.

For what it's worth I am running one of the supplied maps and it runs brilliantly!!  I haven't done any Dyno runs or the like either.
