Just brought myself a 2012 Superglide Custom and was thinking of making a few changes in regards to performance such as pipes/mufflers/cams and aircleaner and tuner. Anyone got any advice and a good contact in Perth, I rebuild all of my Brit bikes but havent really messed around with Harleys.

 

Get in touch with the guys at Thundertech up in Mundaring, good guys and know their stuff. Easy ta get along with and aren't pushy.

Good bike choice Trumpy  , I just put slip ons for a bit of noise , didn,t worry about engine mods , too busy ridin .

Same here Trumpy just got slip ons mate with shortened baffles, sounds nice, pops a bit so a tune will be next, apart from that just ride it mate, they go hard enough stock, even with my 110kg ass on it

Mate I have a FXDC bought it in 09 and had those mods done that you asked about all but the cams.

It goes like a salded cat!!

My honest advice is. Do the racing chip,air filter,screaming eagle muffles and leave it like that...

ps. With just these mods its does more than 220kph and less than half throddle. I know it wont goes that much faster but I ran out of road.( Camden bypass to Narellan) so I'll have to wait for another time to try.
