simple one...replaced pipes back to origional (bastard EPA got me) and one of the pipe clamps wont tighten onto the pipe.. (nut gets tight)had to fashion a shim from a bit of car panel metal between the clamp and the pipe to get it to tighten... do they wear/stretch or whatever? or am i missing something?the clamp is in the right spot etc..i noticed bike shop had them super tight when i took the old set off

    newbie question... just wondering

    cheers Cez

Take them apart drill out the spacer so the bolt just runs free and should work. Also grind a little off the spacer.

    Or replace!

They're only supposed to be good for 3 times torquing apparently these stock "Torco" clamps

So it depends how mant times the pipes have been off 'n on I suppose

Luckily I've always had "used once" spares lying around
