I know this has been covered elsewhere but I did some searching and couldnt really sort out what steps I should take to sort out my issues. So hoping someone can lead me in right direction.
Bike 2006 Lowrider 88cube 6 speed SE Super Tuner (Only fitted about 3 weeks ago) K & N High Flow Air Cleaner (The deeper one) Added at same time as tuner. SE Slip Ons. Otherwise Stock.
Me 110 Kilos Mrs 59 Kgs
Ride 70% 1 up 30% 2 up
Fairly conservative riding style but like to twist the wrist occassionaly. Probably cruise around 2800 to 3000 RPM. May hit 4500 to 5000 Rpm when giving it a bit. Bike was popping a lot and bit of backfire on gear changes after SE Module and Air Cleaner fitted (On STandard downloaded Map). Also had a miss every now and then especially when accellerating. Bike was then remapped on a dyno but only over lower Rpm scale (I think to 4000Rpm). I was told was running very lean and that the Map was adjusted. Rides better but still have popping issue (About the same as before or slightly better) and had a big backfire going from 2nd to 3rd at about 4500 Rpm. Have had the miss happen again but only once when starting the bike (This morning).
Assuming that the remap was right what else could it be. I know that the pipes leaking may do this and have had a bit of a look but can't see anything obvious, is there an easy way to check??
Any other ideas??
