Hi folks, can anyone give me some advice I have a 2003 Fatboy FLSTC and for some reason the indicators on the left hand side have died. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine, have put a multi meter accross the globe holders and there is absolultley now power to left hand indicators. When I go to use the left hand indicator a warning light of the instrument panel comes on the same one as the security system.

Has any one got any ideas the only other thing I can think of is the flasher unit has shit it,s self or there's a broken wire or loose conection, the manual is no help.

If the right side indicators are working then the flasher unit is OK.

Look for an open circuit (broken wire or dickie conector block, switch) in the left indicator circuit,,, haven't been working on switch block on handle bars by any chance ?

You mention bike has a security system,,,, is the left side still coming on when security system activates and de-activates?

have you checked under rear guard , had that problem ,the rear tire scrubbed the wireing out
