i had a mate of mine ask me this question.

$12000 budget, that would see me get an older bike, shovel or pan, i guess i can look after it but a virgin harley owner could struggle maybe or maybe not. a sportys no good because the blokes to big.

hes just about 7 foot tall and around 130kg

even i feel a sportys to small and im only 6'

yes im very close to getting hold of choppawezza, i notice a few here for sale and on ebay etc in that price area.

Try the motor auctions. A bloke i know went to the auctions where bike repo's are and picked up a 2008 superglide for 13K, looked real neat and was all legit. had faily low k's too. He sold it for 18K. Google them to see whats available. It may be worth a try.

in saying this i dont think the thread is over, you guys have come up with a few nice rides for C$12000, i realise people in that price market are not getting the latest greatest hog ut who gives a rats, far as im concerned the more people on hogs the better for all of us(as long as their not wankers lol).

yer thats no problem getting forward controls, hes learnt to live with paying more from being tall.
