Just ordered my Shotgun Shocks air-ride.

After reading on all the forums and camparing Legend L3 to the Shotgun I decided to go with the Shotguns! hopefully I made the right descision.

Anyways I got it for $1250 US delivered to my door! They had RRP of $1550 on the website which i would of happily paid but on enquiry of postage cost to Brisbane he said  he would do the whole thing for $1250. That was the easiest discount Ive encountered.

Cant wait for it to arrive!

    Hi mate

    Did you consider the Platinums....?

Reah i did consider it but I ended going with Shotgun because of all the positive feedback on the shocks and the customer service. It  seems the shotguns are the most popular in the states and have the reputation.

    Do you have the platinums?

    Platinums yeah

Took me about 6 hours & a 10 pack of Wild Turkey to fit
    Easy job

    Bike looks nice slammed,
& can lift it right up for the twisties

Can make it a soft to rigid ride at any height,
with the adjustable height & rebound.
    All on the fly

    You'll love it

Post a pick of your ride slammed when you done
    Love to see it

They seem to be almost identical in usability and I think they even use the same compressor.
I currently have the nightrain lowered with lowering bolts 2in so the ride is pretty harsh. The missus wont get on anymore (sometimes not a bad thing) but this should give me the best of both worlds.
Will def post pictures once its installed.

Slippery1, had my shotgun shocks for approx 6-7 months now, best mod i've done so far. Watch out leaning around corners, keep scraping my pipes, when sacked out.

    Cheers Bloodnut

Hey Guys , let us know how it goes delivery wise Slippery , i thought there was a exsise price added on if the goods were over a $1000 bucks ... Bloodnut did you have to wait long

for them to arrive when you ordered yours ... and Crowy are the Platinums readily available here in Qld and are they compareable in price .

Being of the bigger variety of the male speices i am definitly thinking of going the air ride optin myself for my soon to be next Harley Softail .

Forgotton how long they took to arrive, was under 2 weeks. No added tax, he lists the price as approx 900 US, from memory.

    Cheers Bloodnut

Yeah cheers bloodnut i cant say ive really heard and negative feedback on them.
Tim, I asked JD from shotgun if he would declare a value of under $1k due to gst, he said "always happy to deprive them (govt) from taking our wealth".
Also, he posts it using USPS priority internalional postage with online tracking.

Well i installed the shotguns today. It took me 4 hrs by myself ( would have been probably an hour quicker with help!
Installation went smooth minus a few small f-ups. Extremely happy with the build quality, they are solid. The ride quality it heaps better, even when set lower than i had it lowered with bolts. Will put pics up very soon! ??

I had my iPhone stolen last week and thats what i use to upload my photos so ill try when i get home next week.
Best advice is have a helper. mainly to lever the rear wheel up/down while trying to line up the front shock bolts (i used a shovel on one arm under the wheel and other hand lining the bolts up) took a few attempts!
    Quite easy install though.
