It's not the bike riders that carry the guns and stuff, the cops know that, it's the bikies old ladies that carry them in the plain old family car or van. Do they think that bikies are that dumb?!!
Quick question for ya mate. Was it just coppers or were there dead shits from the EPA measuring the noise from ya bike. I know if the fuzz think you are too loud they can order a test, at your expence. EPA I think just hand you the fine. I dont think they would be happy with my Granny glides S&S ovals !!
Good advice Skull. A very close friend of mine rides for a well know outlaw club. Was pulled up by one of these road blocks. The cops found his pistol in one saddle bag, bullets in the other. Arrested , jailed, full on but had the presence of mind to take photos of the group of bikes with his phone. When it came to court, it was found the cop had not documented the exact bike he found the weapon in, and could not identify his bike in the photo. Case dismissed. Very sad though he is, says he lost his best gun! Hopefully they will leave the Hog outfits alone and only look at the 1%ers. Going in land to avoid these fools ,makes it a long trip.
It seems to me that everytime we ride through Coffs as a group we get grief from the arsehole highway patrol, they must send all the cops that the cops hate to Kempsey, Coffs and Grafton and then put them into the highway patrol.
Last time through they followed us for about 10 minutes running the number plates through their system and give it to us the time before over pipes, bar's and helmets. The defect for pipes was only for a set of fishtails on a mates softail as one of their theories was that they were unsafe and could cut someone if you ran them over, my out loud thoughts were that by the time the fishtails got to them the damage was done but they disagreed with my theory......They did stop the harrasement after I started taking pic's of their id numbers and questioning the young maggots. The old sarg was another story but in the end he give up to. End result, at least 10 bikes pulled over, 1 defect for bar's, 1 for pipes and one helmet fine and he was allowed to ride away with it on......When I asked what happens if we just throw the defect notices away as all the bikes were registered in Qld they told us that it was fine but if we rode them back into NSW and was pulled over again they would impound the bike, was better to get the defects lifted.
