hi i am thinking of purchasing this harley could you please give me any thoughts

Harley shovelhead 1340cc Full motor rebuild by previous owner 12000ks ago..Keith Black pistons mild cam head work,..heaps of compression,very reliable.starts easy.4speed box with andrew gears.new cluthes.chrome swing arm heavy duty rear shocks. Redgo VIC til jan next year.Ride Away.have got some spares to go

from what I can see the front end has a set of custom trees and is using the stock 39mm forks and using spacers and the stock narrow glide fender.
From the lack of kickstarter and the use of the dual Speedo/Tacho dash I'd guess it may have started life as a Super Glide, late 83/early 84.
Price is the question as you say,

Have a look at the motor mate.

It might be recently rebuilt but the exterior looks ordinary compared to the drive casings etc.

You would definately need to check it out first hand.

Its $12,000.

 Tranny cover looks 4 speed to me with the arm coming out the top.

 Kickstart was offered till 85 on FX's.
