Removing rear shock on 95 sporty

I am trying to remove right hand side rear shock on my '95 sporty 883. The shocks lower fixing nut (on the inside near the rear sprocket) is difficult to access because of the belt guard support. My open end spanner can not get into the space. Ring spanner will not work because the nut is too close to the swing arm.

Any hints as to getting this nut and bolt undone without removing the rear wheel.

it is a bit tight in there use the narrow/thin spanner you have  + a rattle gunif you have ,   you should be able to just hold the spanner on the inside just enough

Finally got it - pushed the narrow open spanner really hard (with a towell at the other end of it). I think the locktite used by the factory really does its job.

    Thanks
