Can anyone out there comment as to how much less petrol you can get into the tank with a lift?  

I'm debating going one, although I'm not entirely sure it would look right with my keystone bars.  I think it's more suited to drags or broomsticks.

I do like your bars though. How do they feel? I'd look at the 12" if I went with those. You get them from the US?

Hey T1, did you find the vibronators make that much of a difference? I have thought about them but don't know anybody who has 'em to get a valid opinion...

Hey Norm, i havnt had much of a chance to ride (health reasons) i have only done about 2k's since fitting them, and found with my 14 apes i can no see out of my mirrors while idle and riding, and no vibrations at all in my hands.... but i really need to do more riding to make a full comment on them...

With my 12" apes I find that I can see no problem cruising around but I can't see much when accelerating from a stop or while going up through the gears. It's only really bad if I am in the wrong gear like when I'm too lazy to change down and she chugs a bit...

I really don't have much of an issue with the vibrations but its my first HD so I just assumed they all felt like that...

With what size tank smokeweazel? I have stock iron tank and am getting 180 around town and 270 only the freeway (no stops) but this is only because my bike is properly tuned for 98 and not 89 american crap, a big mistake is using the "stage 1" etc maps and thinking they will be right for your bike, they are only a universal map that is safe, not anything to be considered correct. Im getting off topic here so i'll stop here....

Any photos of a lift without the coil/ignition relocation to compare.
I can't relocate the coil as im on a Sport, but would be interested to see how much more 'unclean' it looks as compared to T1's.

Kieran, somebody did do it a while back, might have been last year some time....check the sportster photo thread.....
