2010 fatboy wheels. are they using a 1" axle?

& if so how far back does the 1" axle go on this model?

before they where 3/4"??

l want to fit 2010 wheels on an earlier bike but dont want hassles...

thinking caps????????

I don't know the exact sizing but pretty sure the 2007 had the smaller axle and they upgraded the axle in 2008 models

o.k. ..at this point august on 2008 models have the 1 inch axle....Thanks....
