After many years of riding, im on to my 8th bike and second HD. i parted with my 07' rocketIII about 3 years ago when i found my wife was having a 2nd set of twins to make a grand total of 5 kids. it didnt bother me too much at the time but after about a year the bug started biting every time a bike ripped past me on the highway, while i was stuck in a tarago with an indoor soccer team sized family (thats inculding reserves).
i was thinking of getting a trike so atleast a few of the kids could jump aboard too but then i found that under 8's cant go on a bike or trike, so I started looking into sidecars. so after much research and scouring of trading posts etc with a heavily reduced budget i have settled on 94' electra glide with a sidecar, which I found for a pretty reasonable price.
I have had the kidlets out for a couple of rides and they love it (which im sure will earn me some extra leave passes too)

A bloke called Bruce who owns "TSV sidecars" in Townsville helped me with getting the bike and even gave me a lesson on riding 3 wheels (it's very different) to keep me upright. The roads are fairly straight up here in NQ but there are enough bends to get you into trouble if you dont know what you're doing.

    the outfit

this was my first HD 04' sportster, went like a cut cat but was a bit small for my size.

Nice outfit! I had a sidecar when the kids were younger for exactly the same reason and the kids loved riding in it too, I sold it a couple of years ago to a younger mate of mine who now carts his 2 kids around in it. Your outfit is a lot neater than mine was though LOL.

nice work. a terrifc compromise. At least you are back into it and the kids are obviously having a ball. almost as good as the Tarago.
