Hi all , just wanted to send a thanks out  to a couple of people here on this site for their advice and assitance .

KiwiDave for his sugesstion about a book called ...."101 Harley-Davidson Evoloution Performance Projects 2nd edtion" , authors Kip Woodring and Keena Love ... on route as we speek from the good old USA via Amazon .... a hell of a lot cheaper than what we can get here ....  would love to susport the locals but at these prices would be crazy not to go the USA route .

To Paulsails01 .... thanks for letting me know about a FANTASTIC searies of books called ...." Donny`s Unauthorisied Guide to Harley-Davidson , 1936 to Present  " ,  author Donny Petersen , a pretty amazing guy in his own right it seems .... there will be 12 volumes eventully apparently , so far i have allready the volumes allready written

Volume 1 , The Twin Cam ... if buying this volume get the updated version ... an extra 300 pages or there abouts on top of the allready 400 pages .

Volume 2 , Performancing the Twin Cam .... another 700 pages or there abouts .

    Volume 3 , The Evolution , 1984 to 2000 .... again another 700 pages .

It seems Mr . Petersen is working his way back through the Harley years.... i got my copies through Amazon , less than  $140 Aussie Dollars for all three delivered within 10 days , could of even been cheaper if i went for the good condition second hand books in stead of brand new and cheaper again if i chose standard postal delivery time instead of quicker time .... { my typical impatience } .

If i had to be critical it would be that i thought they were like a workshop manual size or coffee table size ,  but in fact they came in novel type paper back size and not glossy pages allthough i would imangine 700 glossy pages would make for a much more exspensive book .... the hardback cover style may be like that but not sure .... all in all though a pretty amazing 3 books that will keep me even longer in the Mens Libary  and the missus wondering where the bloody hell am i , Lol .

Last but not least to Ron from Ol Skool Customs from up there in the land of Gods nectar , Bunderberg , thanks for all your great advice and offer of ringing you which i will definitly be taking you up on when i get closer to my next Harley purchase .

For now though i have some light reading to do ... { yeah right } ... that will hopefully help me make an imformed judgement on my next pride and joy .

Cheers to all .... Tim .
