Hi all! Just picked up my 08 Dyna Low Rider on friday and I couldn't stop smling all the way home. I have been converted from the jap world. Was looking at a sportster and my partner said if we are going to get a Harley we gotta buy a big one, (she's Canadian and grew up on the back of her Dads soft tail) so thats what we did! I managed to take it out for a cruise this arvo and whats not to like? I've got plenty to learn about Harley's and cant wait, this site has a great help so far. The first mod I did was a set a slip on vance and hines, now it sounds like a Harley.

Hey Dan welcome, dont listen to em, you will love the Low Rider.

I have a 2006 Lowwie myself and it was my first Harley after a 40 year progression through Jappers, Italian, Pommies and now the harley.
One thing that surprises me than anything else is how easy it is to ride, low seat height etc. I also bought it on my Mrs advice as she was sick of the sore bum from riding pillion on the Bonnie and after two blocks she was ready to get of the 62 Tiger Rigid.
