Baloff, what sort of budget do you have ?
Don't order anything until we can sort out a complete build plan for you !
It all has to work in together.

I pulled 95 tq out of a 95" Andrews 37's & slightly bigger valves, but I reckon if I had more head work done like a port & polish & possibly a 51mm TB it wouldve easily done 100 tq.
My advice to you if you want to go down this performance path ring some builders in the US & get their opinions on what works & what doesnt.
If you chose to go the whole hog on heads then buy them over in US & get them sent straight to your chosen headporter to work his magic & remember to hunt down some 06 upwards heads. This is what I did for my current build (98") & it worked out a hell of alot cheaper & the performance from my current build is fucking scary. I don't know the tq from this build yet.

$5k will get you easily where you want, with a bit of change.
Are you happy buying stuff from O/S ? Like OZ and '05 said you can look at getting a set of reworked stock heads from one of the better builders.
There is also Paul Hallam, and his brother that both do head work in Vic.
First thing is to decide where you want the power to hit depending on your riding style, traffic light grunt or WFO (or both) !
I'd look at boring your own cylinders to 97/98, with pistons to suit the Cam/compression.
I'd suggest a Tman TR600 set at 10:1. Should give you a nice spread of power.

Baloff heres a run down on what it costs me for my 98" build
- $150 (US) for 09 heads
- $1500 (AU) for mods & parts to Stg 3 heads to door perth
- $1000 (AU)for Wiseco pistons, 4" bore gasket kit & rings & Woods 6 cam to door perth
- $800 (AU) for 51mm TB, flanges to suit & 5.3 gps injectors to door perth
- $350 for match bored barrels at local engine engine shop.
Believe me when I say this thing easily pulls north of 100tq. My headporter in US who helped me with all of this was saying it should pull 110-115tq.
Hope this helps

Paul Hallam is out at Modewarre and does cylinder boring etc'.
Andrew now works out of Peter Stevens in the city I think?
You can also look at HD cast Pistons for a 95". They are well made, and not badly priced.

Mate I did a 95 build on my 03 Fatty I was going to do a mild compression build looking for 100/100 with Andrews 37's and Wiseco 4cc pistons, which are now still in the cupboard, changed to a high compression cast SE piston, with cnc ported heads, SEII Slip ons and 258 cams. For the money your looking at I would also get a price on a 120 kit, with all the tricks, might'nt cost much more, that's what I would have done if it had been out, you have to split it but I'm sure it would be worth the dollars, don't be like me and wonder about it later. Do your heads though don't skimp that will make all the difference in your build, that and good airflow, I have'nt done the throttle body on mine yet but that's coming.
