I was thinking the other day I wouldnt mind building a bike.

I like minimalistic bobber style bikes. Fat front wheel, no rear suspension, reasonable size tank etc.

I thought I would do it over a few years so I started pricing bits for the build.

Fark me!! A few thousand for this and a few for that then bars and tyres and brakes etc etc. Near the cost of a bought one.

I no longer have any wish to build my own bike.

And ya still got to paint it!!

Building a bike (not just assembling one) is not for the faint hearted or ill equipped. (nor those thin in the wallet dept) Unless you are mechanical and have a decent amount of tools and equipment (or mates who do) the cost is almost prohibitive.
