very nice bike! How's the auxillary lighting - does it make a difference?

the auxilliary lighting was more about the "look" than functionality, but yes...they do light up the road more and to be honest those cagers see three lights more as well, so probably more safe i guess

I'm the proud owner of an FXCW/C, 4000k's on it now and very happy with it. My last new Harley was a 1984 FXST! so there is a huge difference between bikes. After purchasing the bike, complete with workshop manual & parts manual (as I did in 1984) I went over the bike, the day after purchase, with a fine tooth comb sussing out every nook and cranny, and noticed scratches on the fork tubes, as if they had done lots of k's and seen a lot of dirt, but, new bike, what gives? I rang the HD shop, the same day, and got it on file immediately, for warranty. Weeks later I rode back to the shop (1 1/2hrs in the bluddy rain) and the shop informs me that the replacement tubes they got in for me were scratched also!!! Can you believe that crap? So you "Rocking Horse" owners, check out your fork tubes and let me know how they look. It'd be interesting to see how they are compared to mine. I'm stoked in the bike except for the stupid looking seat, which I'll sort out when $$'s is available. So far, I've put V&H longshots, breather kit/Power Commander on her, really goes well.I'm happy as a pig in poo with it. Cept for the forktubes! Why didn't I get a FXCW with a solo seat that looks better? coz I wanted the "shiny bits". I'd been working on my '84 Softy, on and off for years, and when I first saw the Rocker last year I fell in love with it! Exactly what I was trying to do with my 84,even the colour,Yee haa. PS: Wish I had the rocking horse when I went over to USA on the Homecoming Tour in '03. Photo's soon as.
