Can anyone tell me if the wheels off a 2010 fxdwg will fit a 2007 fxdwg? My hubs and spokes are rusted and chrome flaking off so i want to change them out but want to keep the spoke wheels. I see a set of wheels off a 2010 fxdwg on ebay and was wondering if they were a straight swap. If not, anyone know where to get new hubs and stainless spokes? My rims are ok, the front is one of those smooth finish harley rims so dont know if they need special spokes. Have contemplated just blasting the hubs and respraying them as well but its probably cheaper to get new ones im guessing. Any answers?
Tourers changed rear axle to 1" in '02, Dyna changed in'05, Soft tails changed in '08 I think. Not sure about Sportsters. Most of the hubs will work in different bikes except '09 & onwards Tourers which have the cushion drive hubs.
