Gentleman and Ladies,
Installing Fork Boots/Gaitors today on my 07 Street Bob and what did I go and do... stripped the rear axle cap fastener. I managed to get the bastard out after excess hair removal.
Does anyone know what to replace them with? Preferably something that doesn't strip so easily.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This will happen to someone in the future no doubt but here is the answer to resolve this issue, Good information on removing front and rear wheels.
And what bolts to buy to replace the crappy Harley Davidson soft stainless steel "Button Head" screws (P/N 4042).
