There is a "how-to" thread from a coupla years ago . Try a search for it.
Fairly straightforward if a bit labour intensive from memory. No cost involved , just time and effort.

Hi all...Pottsy,Pull the the baffels out.Where the exhaust gasses gets deflected,Use a hole saw and cut a hole.I think i used a 32mm hole saw.I also drilled 2 x 12mm holes in each Cat.The baffels dont need to be out to drill the Cat.I would drill the Cat after you have assembled the pipes and put them on the bike and test riden first.Your bike wont be too noisy and will go heaps better in the upper rev ranges.
BTW...When you pull the baffels out,Dont go removing the muffler packing,Leave it alone.Its wrapped around a mesh cylinder that will slide off.Slip it back on after you drill hole.
