Hello people could any one tell me what that thing is allmost in line with right hand foot peg on my stock pipes i was going to order some lo cat d&d pipe wondering will i have to take that thing off or what.

The exhaust valve your talking about?
If you putting slip ons it can stay but if your replacing the whole exhaust i think you will have to remove it.

I think ya talking about the Active exhaust Flapper, this will be removed with the standard exhaust just be sure to unplug the wiring. depending on the tuner you have you can select to disactivate the active exhaust soliniod, other wise it will throw a fault ( which doesn't do anything and should clear after 50 starts)

Then bolt on that new Lowcat
