I ordered the HD Half Mile leather jacket of the Alibaba site, that was recommended on this forum some time ago, just want to add my two cents worth. Paid US175 delivered to get the jacket, has all the same labels as Frasers in Perth have in their supplied leather jackets. Frasers quoted me Aussie $695.00 for the same.

You make up your own mind, but we're getting the raw end of the bargin if we purchase local for somethings, I'm sure.

Anyway, the money I saved, will go local to some more shinny stuff or the like, get the bike next Friday, can't wait, 4+ months is a long time to wait...... Maybe I sould have brought the bike on-line LOL...

I thought I'd share my experience with these guys too.

I bought a genuine Harely Davidson Classic Cruiser Jacket off these guys just over 12 months ago. The cheapest I could find it online from an aussie HD shop at the time was from memory $495, I bought it off these guys delivered to my door within 10 days for just under $200.

I can never understand why we pay so much for Harley stuff in Australia! I was prepared to pay a $100 extra to buy it from a local guy, but for a $300 saving, no chance!!

I bought from aliexpress.com too (a jacket) and the sale went well. Paid by card, it supposedly didn't release the funds till I say I'm happy - and I was, good item, fast post. It seems to be lots of dealers selling their stuff though so you need to watch their feedback score, just like ebay.

As for any purchase made over the internet it's buyer beware! I can only speak from my experience with Alibaba & it it was positive! When I'm due for a new riding jacket this site is the first place I'll be looking..

I buy stuff for work from Alibaba and Aliexpress....on an almost weekly basis. NEVER, EVER had anything but excellent service and positive experiences.

All the stuff I have bought from Alibaba have been top quality.

I think they've lifted their game like most (but not all) of these sites. Having the money held until a certain time passes or you say you've gotten what you paid for is a good idea - plus allowing you to leave and read the feedback of others.

All good here also, I have bought 2 jackets off 2 different sellers and both purchases have been faultless and speedy. Cheap as also - the exact same jacket I had delivered for under $200 sells retails for over $600 here.
