Removing headlight Nacelle

    Hi,Can some one please tell me how to remove the nacelle cap on my 2012 FLHR as in my service manual it shows after removing the steering lock cap,then remove the 2 screws and mine does not have screws  ????.

    If you remove the steering lock cap and take a picture of what you see, I may be able to help. HD use tamper proof screws which can be quite easy to remove with a nail punch and a hammer.

    just use a thin bladed screwdriver to pry it up.

    I got caught with that same problem, as it turns out there are two screws inder the sticker around the steering lock ... if you bike was built for the american market, but if it is an Australian model there is just two studs (tamper proof screws) that look like rivets.
    To get them out you have to do some surgery on your baby. You need to drill a pilot hole in the centre of the stud then using an easyout you can remove the stud and replace it with a new screw.
    I didn't have an easyout when i did mine so I used the tang of a small round file, forced it into the pilot hole, and used a shifter to turn it.
    You will need to remove your headlight and undo the screws inside of it the hold the trim (arrow shaped) onto the headlight.
