Restoring a 1997 Electra Glide Std and after a new exhaust system as the old one is rusted badly. I am not sure about whether to go Double 2:2 or Single 2:1 as I have not been able to ride the bike in its current condition.

Does the bike "balance" as well on either system or is there a trade off?

I am also after a good Aussie parts supplier so if someone has had a great experience with ordering parts on line here in Oz I would appreciate their feedback.

Finally the alloy bits are coated (and I mean coated) with oxidisation and need cleaning. What is the best "stuff" to use before polishing as the grey powder is thick and the surfaces need a clean before I can smooth them out by polishing.

As this is somewhat new to me I appreciate any guidance anyone else has had to bring a HD back to its Proper condition!!
