Not sure if in right section but was wondering:

Is there any bike shows/swap meets etc planned for South East QLD between the 4th to the 11th of October.
I am riding up to QLD (from Maitland) with a mate as I have a Family party to go to on the 12/13 October at Main Beach on the Gld Coast.

I will probably book a room up there somewhere and do a few rides inbetween. Looking for some good places to visit and nice rides around the area. Her indoors may be flying up to meet me earlier but not sure at this stage.

1.  Is there any shows/swap meets on around this time.

2.  What are some decent places to visit (by bike)

3.  Any decent bars/pubs that have live music on Gold Coast.

inland from the goldie is ok up into the national parks. north west of bris also ok

I had a look at the UMC site and Pinky's etc but couldnt find anything. Was hoping maybe someone knew of summin.

I have ridden up around Maleny a few times on the old Trumpy so might do the inland from GoldCoast this time. Might even stop off at Byron or thereabouts on my way through.

Mainly would like to find somewhere that still has live bands that play rock.

Samford - Mt Glourious around the dam back of Summerset along the warrego then off to where ever your staying isn't to bad or you can come back inside the dam - Mt Glourious - Mt Nebo then back into Bris

not from the coast mate and haven't been there for many years so can't help with the "place to be". There are a few coast lads on here, I am sure they will chime in and give you the run down
