"I was speaking to his head mechanic at Morgan and Wacker the other day and understand that he had been in a coupe of days before, be interesting to see the outcome."

Are we talking Jeff Richardson who had been in a couple of days before? Is this Brisbane we are talking?

Just spoke to Hendra CIB, as soon as they know where he is they can make the arrest. If anyone knows his location best to call the Hendra CIB on 3632 2322.

I was speaking to a bloke I know as Nathan who was head mechanic from Chopper Works, when one of the other spare parts blokes at Morgan and Wacker said Jeff Richardson was in a couple of days ago.  Watching with interest.

My suspicion is that all activities were conducted in the name of "Chopper Works Pty Ltd" leaving the Directors free from debt.

Yes, but in the event of fraudulent activity, for which there are several police submissions alleging this, he has committed a crime and will face prosecution through the legal system! Being a director will not save your ass if you have done a crime!

Hopefully those that have lodged fraud claims under the QLD government fund, if they win, the QLD government will chase him for the money, so he may have thought he is not liable to pay under the protection of a company director, but.....he will pay!

There is insurance to cover you (the director) of thIngs like this

I hope that Insurance fund comes through because in most cases I've seen, the Directors keep their personal possessions unless there has been a deliberate fraud. Looks like it will be up to the Courts to decide if there was a fraud or if the company just went broke leaving people out of pocket.

I doesnt matter what happens to this guy financially, because I suspect there are victims who wont be happy with money only, and will want to see his head on a stick for what he has done regardless.  Surely someone will step up to the plate and visit him one way or the other, before or after jail..

Also, as someone also rightly pointed out, u cant trade insolvent and get away with it. Its a criminal act and has been for over 5 years. And once this guy goes bankrupt, which will happen when the auditors/creditors petition gets finalised, he will be barred from being a director for either 7 to 10 years, and his credit rating/bankruptcy will be onfile for minimum of 7 years. It is illegal for him to do anything except be a worker for almost the next decade, and anything over apx $44,000 per annum income, gets garnish-eed etc to pay people/creditors back.

I cant believe he walked in and saw someone, and nobody held him there for the police to pick up. Surely even his friends would realise he has done the wrong thing. If I was a friend of this bloke, I wouldnt be seen dead with him in public, nor would i even assosciate with him at all, ever.

I am hoping for the victims sake, this gets dealt with before Xmas.

What are the QLD Police saying they are actively doing ? Why hasnt he been locked up yet ?

I see we haven't heard from that $$$$JAM (money for jam) guy that joined as soon as he saw that someone setup a a donation page for HD73 for money he lost. That was until the turd was outed as a ponge trying to get everyone to give him money. I see that the assshole hasn't posted since.

Yeah man... it's sad when you try to the right thing for someone, and some other cockhead sticks his big nose in. It was me that started the thread for HD73 to try and recoup some coin - seems there are trolls out there that will try and get in on anything they think could give them a win - at whatever cost.

Yes. An update on my case. I'm not sure yet if I will get any money back from the claim fund, it's still in progress, but if I do I'll be donating the money generously donated to me back to charity as promised.

Can you help? I have spoken to the Department of Fair Trading regarding my $15,000 claim against Jeff Richarsdon for a bike he never bought on my behalf. They have indicated that unless I can prove that the bike he sent me pictures of, was never for sale, I don't have a case!!! Despite the fact I have evidence of him talking to me the day before the company went into liquidation telling the bike is in customs and then finding out it wasn't, their response has been, "there may well have been a bike initially, he may have then sold it and then started lying". So, I need to confirm where these pictures were sourced from, who owns the bike and prove it wasn't purchased by Jeff!! Like a needle in a haystack I know, but I'm figuring this is a pretty small community of well connected people and someone must know something. They also mentioned I can seek legal representation, so if anyone knows a good lawyer, or you can shed some light on this bike and it's history, please PM me.

Here are the pics he sent me originally.....do you know this carpark?

Are those blinkers amber? So not a US bike then, right? That's a weird driveway in the second pic so surely someone has been there.

**Edit, on second look maybe they are red?  I'd try posting on the US HDforums.  Someone will know it. **

UPDATE. Idiots at the Dept of fair trading said that unless I can prove Jeff had no intention of buying the red 09 night train, getting proof that it was never imported into Australia is not evidence enough! Short of getting a statement from Jeff Richardson stating he never intended to buy it or finding the owner of this bike, they've indicated it's case closed!! There must be shit load of money in this fund because based on the criteria I bet no fucker has ever had any claim approved! struth!

That's retarded. What's the point of having a "fair trading" department? This state is useless.

Just my 2 cents worth but i reckon those blinkers are amber as well and there is one strange coincerdence about that trike in back ground in 3rd pic as stated by previous poster but also the full dresser in pic 2 is also in the same ebay pics that the previous poster has a link to ... mate i hope it all works out in the end for ya and it dosent mean anything now but you had good taste in the type of bike you wanted and hopefully one day still will , dont give up ... have the boys in blue got any closer to getting him .

    Tim .
