    Hey guys
I've been done out of $45k for what was going to be an awesome bike. I have been in contact with Matt and Vincent's but it's not looking good. Does anyone know any other avenues to go down to try and get a little of the money back? I really can't afford another loss on a bike.

    Hey guys
I have also been takin for a ride! I'm down $45k and haven't got a thing to show for it. I've been in contact with Vincent's and Matt but it's not looking good. Is there any other avenue to chase up if a bike was even ordered for me from the States? Im a lil lost with this whole procedure. By the sounds of things if there isn't a bike on the wharf my journey is over.

Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

All the best with finding your bikes and parts guys,

I lost $15,000 to a company that went broke.  Apparently all the proceeds from the sales go to secured creditors, so keep lookin for your gear before it gets to auction.

     Regards

    Geoff

I can sympathise with the people who paid money for a bike, I was one of the lucky ones who bought a bike off Chopperworks about 7 years ago, when it was a family business with one offside, his father, his wife and himself.

Back then I was pretty comfortable handing over $48,000 over about 6 months to a family business.

I was a bit wary when I went in about two months ago to have a look and saw that he had a dozen people working there, enough wages to break the bank of England.  I was very close to putting down a deposit but something put me off.

    Regards

    Geoff

Looking back now a bit stupid but you sign a contract for a bike worth 60 and pay for all the parts and shit to rock up. Even have receipts but for apparently ghost merchandise. I was gutted when i flew in to brisvegas to check things out to find it shut down that day!!!! Just came to terms with it now. More devoed about not getting the bike!

Surely if the coppers were going to grab him they'ld have done so by now right? Especially if they supposedly know where he is.

I'm still here. Arrest warrant is out but they are also building case for extradition from Vic. It's happening but need to let things take their course.

Latest suggestion from Adminstrators, no assets, so unlikely to be any money to distributed. Cops recon good case for jail! That's about as good as it gets. The rest of us will just have to get on and over being duded by a slimy cunt.

For the others who haves asked the question. I was not comfortable handing over $15k but was given confidence in Jeff from one of my close mates who I trust. Once money was handed over each time I had doubts, my mate who has had work done by him told me all would be good, this is how Jeff operates, etc, etc. if I would have gone off gut I would not be in this position but I listened to my mate who is now also gutted that I've lost money after listening to him. I guess this is how he has worked. Gains trust in others and them bleeds their friends!

Our w/site is chopperworks.ca in Canada so we are aware of chopperworks.com. We work with our clients in a way that risks are at a minimum. Deposits for parts and labour are taken but only what is needed to cover dealer costs until the product is shipped or the fabrication is done to the clients satisfaction. Workorders maintain clearity. We have had shops in our area abuse the trust of their custommers in a similar fashion to Chopperworks Au. One that stands out is a shop that would take a deposit for a bike build and misdirectly use it for auto body repair being that automotive repair was what the business focused on.

We are empathetic to all the people involved and hope some good will come out of this.

Chopperworks.ca i dont think any good at all will come out of this, all the cunt has done is probably fucked most of the trust that people needed to have in this industry in Australia.

There has to be more to this story.      Why does someone who has built up an honest and reliable business over ten years decide to leave town so quick.   Most scammers are faceless men who hide behind a company and pick on pensioners.   In this case it was an open family business dealing with customers who will take serious revenge.

    Stay Tuned

I would have thought it would have been more than $250k. Still a lot of money though to have stolen from people.
