My 08 Fatboy is puzzling me can someone help. The problem is that i can go to start it one day it will wind over but not start the next day it will start and so on.It is reading 14.3 v when running and has a new battery in it. I have heard it could be my starter motor please help

well if it whines over with a good battery,it wont be your starter more like a crank angle sensor or dirty earths or ecu pins im sure one of efi boys will be able to help,buy the way welcome to the fourm

 only thing i can suggest check plugs and the leads make sure there pushed all the way into the coil. other than that put it into the stealer.

Aren't you supposed to measure it when its starting (cold cranking amps) - not when its running? Since its a new battery and starting on alternate days (presuming your not charging it each time?) maybe its not the problem - so maybe moisture getting in somewhere (like fuses) it shouldn't?
