the best 2:1 is the V&H Cometition Series 2-into-1 for both performance and sound but you will also have the EPA after you all the time. These pipes might not be available for 2012 and beyond though. Know a few people running these on softies and V-Rods and are more than happy.

i went 11.5 in standing quarter on my twin cam with just slip on's on stock head pipe 95 cubic inch. slip ons were from Vic & cheap something like $200? trap speed was about 116mph my m8 had 2 into 1 supertrap super meg on similar build ran 11.7 114mph. so if there is a huge difference, i think its in the cost of the pipe not the power gain.

i think what you notice most with 2 into 1 is thge make more torque at lower rev's, but the slip on's on stock head pipe make more Tq over 3,500 rpm. if you only ride below 3,000 the 2 into 1 would be the better choice but if you rev em 4,000 5,000 the stock & slip ons works. but big difference in the cost.but changing from what you got there to 2 into 1 is a waist of time if you ask me.

your better off doing heads cams & matching compression to the cams you choose. you will nitice a lot more gain.  good luck what ever you do.
