Working on fitting a 180 tyre to my Soft Tail Deluxe by lacing a 16x6" rim from an '09 Road King Classic to a Soft Tail hub. The '09 RK hub is too wide & completely different, so lacing the rim to a Soft tail hub seems to be the only way to go. Obviously the rear guard will have to be widened or changed. I think this rim width will take a 200 tyre.
If your Sporty wheels are 16" then that's one option.
