Just thought I'd introduce myself. Been riding bikes for about 13 years but after a nasty accident a couple of years ago were I almost lost my hand when it decided to stay attached to the brush protector on my dirtbike and I didn't. Been missing the bikes though and have decided on a cruiser so I'm not on the wrists so much. Figured a cruiser can't be anything other than a Harley and I've always wanted one so just here getting some info before I drop the cash. Been rebuilding an American car and would'nt mind getting an American bike that I can put a bit of work into so not really set on what type of bike yet cause you can do so much to all of them with the parts available. So looking forward to learning a bit from all the knowledge in here.

Just rode from Sydney to Melbourne and Back over 5 days (2 days down, 2 in melbourne and 1 back) no issues with wrists, back etc. I broke my right wrist and needed a full right shoulder reco a few years ago so I was looking cruiser as well. Couldn't go anything other than Harley (Although did take the Suzi 1800 for a spin.)
