Along the continuous Qilian Mountain, riding on the broad desert highway, we saw pleasant wind power station again. Thw white 2 wings rotated in the vast desert. Everytime we saw wind power station, we became thrilled. According to locals, this is Asian famous 100km/h and is also an important regeneration base of clean energy. Former fierce wind became today's clean energy. We can tryly see the transformation and improvement through these large-scale power stations. We are so proud of our country!

  This desert highway is also the famous Hexi corridor. Its east to west side is continuous Qilian mountain and the main mountain is 6000m. The highway's end is China's first pass of Great Wall:Jiayu Pass. 600 years ago, Jiayu pass is the largest boader port of Chinese history.

  We checked into 20-year-long The Great Wall Hotel whose theme is the great wall.

  When we travelled in Jiayu Pass, we saw the magnificant architectures. We really impressed bu ancient architects and strategists.

 

Treacherous Hexi corridor now can be arrived smoothly.

Hexi corridor, also known as Gansu corridor, since the ancient times, it's the thoughfare of central plains to Sinkiang. The wars never endED here. Now the highway is smooth and peaceful. Gobi desert harbors the thousand years chaos past and salute to the modern civilization. 2000 years ago. could Mr. Zhangqin think of this dangrous place can become so peaceful?

World's first pass:Jiayu Pass 

Broad Guan city is lying on the Gobi desert and the 2 sides defensive walls connecting the mountains. The red gate tower and the white snowy Qilian Mountain is as beautiful as a painting. Standing on the gate tower, the Great Wall is like a dragon cruising aling the Gobi Desert and the vast Sea. Whenit's sunny, you can even see mirage sometimes. The melodious ring of the camel crowds reminds us the ancient trade team and tourists on silk road! 

Out team arrived at Jiayu Pass 

Jiayu Pass was first bulit from 5th year of Mingwu Emperor in power of Ming Dynasty.(1372AD) and it took 168 years to finish. It's the largest well-preserved military castle so far. It is also the thoughfare of the silk road and since Ming dynasty, it is the important military fortress of the Great Wall. It's also named " defensive to both in and out landers""the 1st fortress of Hexi".

   The Guan city travers Gobi desert. 8km to the north it connected with black mountain Cantilever great wall. 7km from the south is the west end of the Great wall. It echoes with thousands and thousands mils away Shanhai Pass and is known to the world.

Today's Jiayu Pass has no stategic use, like an old general, although is out of service, it still cannot cover its bearing.

The main body of the Guan city is bulit of earth and rocks. The same color with sands.

The Guan city od Jiayu pass is well- arranged. There are 3 defensive walls inside this city and multi-lines of defense. There are cities inside the city and trenches outside the city, forming a strongly fortified city. Guan City is consists of inner city, weng city, luo city, trenches and three 3-floor buildings.

    The inner city is the most important part of Guan city. The perimeter is 640m and the area is 25,000m2. The city wall is 10.7m high and is built by yellow earth. its west is consists of 99999 bricks. There are Arrow building, enemy building, conor building, attic and gate building  in total 14 buidlings.

Irratating CNPC(China National Petroleum Corporation)

    CNPC is really our headache.They make the most dagerous behaviour as the standard procedure. Everytime we arrived at the gas station of CNPC, we had to take our oil-leaking shabby barrel and park our motors in the specified place. We refuel the motor and half the oil will leak from the hole in the barrel. Sometimes we will meet warm clerks to help us. We heard that in foreign countries, the gas stations are allowed to refuel the motorcycles directly. On the contrary, In CNPC,all the managers know is earning money. Treating danger as a game, damn!

We put the oil into the tank by ourselves.Broken barrel is leaking. DIDA,it's a waste and is dangerous. And they just ignore this.
