Life is ebb and flow, leaving the mysterious Ghost city, we moved on to the next stop, whose name is well known to the world:Kanas. On our journey, we've been to so many scenic spots, but Kanas brings us different experience right away, like God's backyard garden. It's really like the last heaven in man's world.

   The Kanas Administrition is quite advanced, the extraodinary style is totally comparable to world-class scenic spots. Taking brandnew and clean bus, hearing the introduction from the automated voice system,seeing the fairyland like scenary, although we cannot see real gods, but it feels like it's their home! Seeing the 2 foot steps on the Moon Bay and white birch forest, pines and cypress trees all over the mountain,the Kanas Lake flowing like the sound of Nature at our ears, our feeling is beyond words. We really wanna live here forever. 

The beautiful building at the back is Sutong Holiday Inn we stayed last night, now we are ready to start from Bulgin county to Kanas.

?Kanas?
   Kanas is Mongolian, meaning" beautiful,rich and mysterious".  Kanas Lake is located in the North to Bulgin county, 150 km from the county. The lake evelation is 1374m and the area is 44.78 km2. it's an alpine lake located in the forests of the Altai Mountains.The deepest of the lake is 198m. Boundless blue water invertes reflection of the mountains, the color changes with season and weather, its also a famous discoloration lake. Kanas lake shapes like a peasecod. The east of the lake is the inside of this peascod. Along the bank, there are 6 platforms sticking out to the centre of the lake, forming 6 bays in order. Each curve has a magical legend.

  The scenary in Kanas has both the flavour of masculine North and feminity of the South. In the north part of Kanas, it has the snowy Kuitun mountain, the high-into-the-sky Friendship mountain, fabulous mountains around the lake and painting-like forests. Different layers of plant community is distinct and colorful. When it's autumn, different colors of woods start to show:golden, red,green. When the cloud is aroud mountains, snow mountains partly hidden and partly visible,as if a generation is passed.

The Kanas in pix we saw before are others view, we are recording Kanas by our own eyes and cameras.
Sleeping-dragon bay is formed because of Kanas lake's side-corrossion. Inside the bay, there are 2 shoals, like 2 giant foot prints. The legend says even the God cannot resist the beauty, when he come down from heaven to enjoy the view, he left these 2 prints.

The beautiful Moon Bay is the extention of sleeping-dragon bay. It changes with the Kanas lake, like a pearl on Kanas lake. The waterbed of the lake forms "S"shaped bay like crescent moon, as it called"Moon Bay".

By the side of Kanas lake, the riders played like children.
