Sorry about the late intro... I've been a member for quite a few weeks now... great forums. I started riding M/cycles back in 1980 with a Honda XL250, 1983 progressed to a Kawasaki Gpz550 until 1985 (age 25). Gave up riding for 25 years.... until the two wheel bug reamearged. 2010 I bought a Yamaha YZF600 closely followed by the dreaded R1. After too many close calls and neck pains I decided to fulfill my long lost teenage dream (at age 49) and buy a Harley, a 2011 Nightster. What a machine, The only thing is, my wife wants one now.... but I wouldn't want it any other way.

 No bay area for us, ozymax. We're in Rocky (cow town) central.... 40 minute ride to the nearest beach. It does get a bit hot here mid summer... Especially for us ex-pat Kiwis.

 Hey killerchef.... I sometimes wonder if I just use the old dream thing as an excuse, when maybe it's the on going mid-life crisis.... Hahahahahahahaha. I've even grown a beard for the first time in my life.
