Just picked this up on Evilbay for $100.

    Complete and unused.

This is an 'interim' system. Plan on not using the mufflers and just putting a couple of turn downs on the ends where the mufflers woukld normally go.

Still reckon the Muscle needs the Exhaust on both sides, makes the Bike more alluring.

Wouldn't look right with the exhaust all on one side........

muscles do look sweet with both sides but ya cant get em close to correct lengths vrods need to be under 40inches each pipe plus the muscle system is pretty restrictive ive taken the guts out an got rid of 1/3 of the baffle setup sounds better and gained a heap threw mid range

I'll take a pic of the internals of the mufflers Ron....but I don't plan on using them.....man are they heavy suckers.
I reckon they weigh the same as each muffler I have on the Chevy Suburban.
I don't want it excrutiatingly loud....but I DO want it louder. Lol!
Maybe I can fit a small muffler inside each of the turnouts (thinking 3" stainless elbows cut at an angle to look similar to those 'Force' units pic'd above)?

seein your a welder ect you can most prob make a smaller baffle an wrap it to fit inside them mufflers look like they can be disassebled as you know with metal nothin is impossible lol i made some baffles while ago for a tourer were 12inches long an wrapped total weihgt was 1 .2 kilo so if ya gut the mufflers an make ya own weight will be ok an power n note plus they still retain the sports look hey i reckon the outside of em look pretty cool check them pipes dont have the cats but hey they restrict flow most blokes i know that put the short tips on keep their front orig pipes seein as the cats quieten down a bit

Hey Ron...no cats. This system is 2009. I think maybe cats on the rods from 2011 onwards.

can get em down heaps as i said get me a few piks of internals man an will see wat i can do maybe able to send some bits you just gotta weld an wrap the wrapp i use is light as hey most think ya got to wrap it heaps but you can pack it real lightly the more ya put in the more it tones it down but if you pack it to tight it will make the perf just like a straight pipe

I cant get my head around the standard Muscle exhaust.Reminds me of the old RD350 Yami, but i have seen a muscle with 2 V&H indy style pipes, looked & sounded awsome.
