Tank, guards, off..How?

    G'Day.

    Got an easy job coming up. Gunna get my sled paint job done.

    So, how bad is the wiring to get off from underneath the back guard?

    Is the tank straight forward, or is there something I need to know?

    Yep the cables are able to be pulled through once the connectors are  pulled apart. Becareful as they have a little lug to stop them pulling apart by them sleves. as bit or manipulation but it  works.

    There is ( on mine) a small bolt under the seat that holds the guard up and to get to that I had to drop the rear wheel by disconing the shocks.

    I re routed mine from under theguard to along the frame outside under the seat. Prob I kept having was baring the wires from the rear wheel rubbing away  on the insul

    My tank was a piece of cake to remove  but then again I dont have efi  I got carby. all there was was the 2 bolts front and rear fuel line and breather pipe.

    Yeah, any PDF's would be great.

    Especially if there are connectors that are different from the norm.

    Are there any special tools needed?

    I hvae been told the wiring under rear guard is a dog.
