A mate had the first intercooled procharger in Australia on his 07 softail and it went like stick power sliding out off corners at will. The best he got was 138 hp with a stock motor with injectors PC3 and S&S mufflers. He owns a dynojet 250i dyno and put lots of time into the tune on this bike. The bike has had three owners to date it is still running strong after 4 years on a stock crank. They sound great under power but do rattle a fair bit at idle with the straight cut gears back lash. If you buy one cooky make sure you get a good tune because I have read some horror story's on them. The worst thing with the procharger was it was a crowd puller and we where allways waiting for him at servo's with people lined up wanting to talk to him about the fucking thing.

well good luck if you go that way, i would not use points, i ran points on a kick start only Shovel for years, but went to compufire would never go back to points. you can get a compufire & its easy to change advance curve can slow it down and set it not to advance up till 3,500 there are a number of easy to set advance curves. it has big hand adjusters also reliable, can set rev limit too. can set them up on side of the road. but buggered if i know what they cost now. they are still out there.
