2008 XL883L Jiffy Issues

    Guys, I hope someone could help or even better post a pick from under their bike to show me what the hell the Jiffy stand spring latches on to. I have a 2008 XL883L, I have a feeling, I might have snaped off a metal lug that the jiffy stand spring hooks around. I bottomed out last week and spring came off. Lucky I was close to bunnings at the time to tie it up and get me home. I have checked a mates 2011 bike but it looks like its slightly different setup with simple eyelets to hook on it, I can't work out and the service manual doesn't help.  Sucks having a bike in the garage and the only thing wrong with it is the f!@#ing stand.

    I dont think its a metal lug dude. Quick google brought up some results for similar issues

    The spring hooks in the groove of the frame anchor pin (it is near the removable round clevis pin w/ cotter pin), the other end goes in the hole of the jiffy stand leg. In my 2004 Service Manual Jiffy Stand info is under chassis pg 2-92 & 2-93.
