Hi Mulletman, just finished doing the 106 upgrade, installed 585 ezi starts and just did a clean up on my original heads.
Also had to fit a SE heavy duty clutch spring, had a bit of slippage when I gave it a handfull.
All good now. are you doing the work yourself or through a dealer?.
Do you live in Sydney, feel free to call me 0411883282

I just did the same upgrade but upgraded my stock heads. Port job and bigger valves and new springs etc i used the 585c I just used the chain type cams as they have no issue with the tensioner these days so I saved money. Awsome power. Went from running 12.6 to 11.5s. My engine builder came to the track and has been mucking around with the tune using the laptop with the power commander plug in. i also just upgraded the clutch sping. I need to get the money together to get a full dyno day. I know it will go better. If I was just using my bike for street work I would probably go the 525 cams.

them 585 cams have a bit big duration and are soft if ya haven't got enough compressionand easy starts have stuff that cam go south with them
