Hey Guys & Girls,

 

I can't find much info on this so I thought would you lot again for some tech help. 

Some times, not often, on ignition I get a strange spluttering cough and spit from the Air Filter (I'm not 100% sure if it's directly coming from there, but it's in that vicinity).  It may not start but then it fires up on the next try.  The bike runs real good and all that but just those odd times when you squeeze ya ring in thinking "f*$k am I stranded".  Anything to be concerned about do you think or just one of those things?

Trade off to a more efficient breathing system bud. Happened to me once in 1500klms. started the bike and thought I blew the head off. big puff of black smoke out the breather, a cough and a shit have I just blown my bike up?

How many times is not often? there may be more too it, but I doubt it.

Don't be concerned-- it's just a sneeze through the intake. Try what Hmmm said--

Gotcha, I know exactly what Hmmm is talking about! I do kind of snap off the ignition switch sometimes "expecting" quick fire up.
