Hiya folks, just wondering if any one has a salution to a hard clutch lever. My ride is a 85 Wideglide, 4 speed Evo.Ive just done a mini rebuild and for some reason the clutch is a pig to pull on, especialy after just fitting 16 inch apes on 6 inch risers.Cable is new and is adjusted as per manual.Clutch is a Barnett. Not that I can read in the manual ( unlessIve missed it) the clutch adjuster plate has three settings, A B C would changing position make any differance in the feel of it?? got me buggered, thanks in advance for any help folks, cheers.
thanks guys, cable is brand new and has a clear path, looks like Im going to play with settings.
Hi Monk,
Have a look at this thread,

There are also a couple of products out there that lengthen the actuating arm that the cable attaches to inside the cover.
one replaces the whole arm and ramp, another adds an extension to the arm.
check these, although they say 87 on they will fit your model as it has the ramp clutch style on a 4 speed.
