    Hello all from The USA

Just wondering what everyones using for timing and fuel in the 90 to 100 KPA area on a 120R

I was able to get  129/139 using TTS, but the bike seems slow to respond at 100 throttle.

    Thanks

Anything that truly had 129/139, would not be slow at anything, check for detonation as the management maybe retarding your intended timing to a much lower figure. I would reduce the timing first and if it picks up acceleration, you need to look at your knock levels for retard. What numbers are you running there 90-100 now, and what comp does it have on what fuel???

    Regards- Ant

The bike feels like there's more available in the 100kpa area. I have a 95" wide glide that just goes ape sh*t when you go WFO and it's running 20 to 28 degrees

    Here's my front timing table for 90 & 100

    0.00 0.00
    3.00 3.00
    5.00 5.00
    7.00 7.00
    9.00 9.00
    12.00 12.00
    15.00 15.00
    18.00 18.00
    19.00 19.00
    19.00 19.00
    19.00 19.00
    19.00 19.00
    20.00 20.00
    20.00 20.00
    21.00 21.00
    21.00 21.00
    22.00 22.00

    Hey Brian,
Provided you have reasonable octane and not excessive compression, those numbers seem unusual. Mechanically I would have thought if you were able to get 19 deg in by 3k, you would be able to run atleast 26+ in the top. If your cylinder pressures are that high in the top end that you cant get nore in you have a problem with the combination of parts you have chosen not working together. I also dont understand how you made good figures with those numbers in the map???

Engine is a 120r crate using HPI 53/58 maxflo throttle body and 5.3

Injectors with the stock SE266 cam. Running 10.5/1 compression.

The 100 %  afr is set for 13.2.   I'm going to start adding some timing above 3k

    And see how it runs.

    Thanks for the reply

The timing table posted is only changed in the 95% TP to the latest 120R TTS is putting out for Mastertune. IMO those are realistic numbers for a crate 120. Without knowing anymore on the build. I have to wonder?? If timing only needed to be changed in the 95 colum. Does it see 100% kpa?
