Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a 77FLH limited and what extra,s the limited has? as I have just purchased one, 22000 origonal miles, factory black, matching numbers
If you look at the front guard there is a limited badge in the red painted area on the side, the foot boards and speedo cowl have extra chrome bars arounr the outside edges, the bike has 2 horns fitted in behind the spot lights.Not too worried if it,s nothing special just curious and any info is appreciated.

OK I have been sent some info on the FLH, apparently it,s a 75th anniversary model, black paint, gold and white pin striping and some extra chrome etc. Is missing a badge that goes on the handlebar clamp alloy cover?
Anyone got any more info??

Thanks for the info, yeah the mileage is anyones guess but a compression test and leak down test will tell me how healthy it is. Got a pile of parts on order to tidy the cosmetic side up, mainly just rusty bolt heads and corroded alloy, was a Callifornia bike so overall condition is good. Will work through all bearings, oil lines, brakes etc. before sorting rego. Just want it to be reliable and enjoy it, have no intentions of bastardising it .
