Has anyone used or heard a Bub 2 into 1 on the 1200 sportster?

Im contemplating getting one, but not sure on the quality, ease of fit and of course performance. Are 2into1 considered more of a top end pipe or a bottom end pipe?

I prefer the look of the 2 into 1... just found it hard to find any info or reviews...

I sure did.... the only reason im looking at the Bub now is that someone on ebay is selling them for 350ish plus freight.. so around $400.
I love the look of the V&H 2into 1, but at half the money, the Bub is appealing... it doesnt come in black though and I just cannot find any decent videos or reviews about performance...

thanks for the heads up... it's for a Nightster with mid controls so should be sweet.
My only concern is how they perform... are 2 into 1 meant to be better for bottom end or top end or both?
Surely they would produce any less bottom end than stock...

Can't speak to the performance of 2-1, but I have Bub 2-2 pipes and love em. Easy fit (for someone who kinda knows what they're doing) and good quality.

Have a read of the material on this website before you decide on pipes - http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/exhausttech.htm.

There is a lot of marketing hype out there and a lot of inflated claims on power gains etc.

As a general rule  - stock pipes offer the best low/mid range torque but run out of puff at higher revs - so its going to be hard to get anymore torque out of your powerplant than the stock pipe value just by changing pipes - you can maintain the stock value with certain aftermarket pipes or increase the top end power - its is very hard to do both!!!

I just bought this Bub system. Seemed really cheap.
I hope they are the right ones to get for a Nightster... not sure if ground clearance will be an issue....

As for the sound, it is great. Not offensively loud and I do prefer the sound of the 2 into 1.

Performance is not good at the moment. I am running a fuepak and they dont have a tune for a BUB, but they do have maps for V&H Competition 2into1, and also Thunderheaders... Every map I run, the bike has a huge weak spot low in the rpm range.. then as the revs pick up, it climbs out of the hole and runs till redline. I don't have a tacho so dont know the rpm at which it clears up. I cannot see that it was something I did wrong in the installation...
