Planning a run from Rocky to Grafton early next month

I have done the map thing and planning on staying at Toowoomba for the first night.

Anyone give me ideas on where to stay that have good rooms and a secure lock up for the bike?

for lockup for your bike in Toowoomba youre pretty much fucked, otherwise try the Federal hotel good accomodation and pretty good food, if you don't want to go into Toowoomba, you could stay at Highfields motel if you're coming through from Crows nest, it's about 10km out of toowoomba, nice rooms, they do have meals there or a pub down the road with a bus.  They'd be my choices.  Which way you going to Grafton?

I will have the bike loaded and didn't want to unpack it that is why I was asking about lockup, it's all good.

I was thinking of going down to Tenterfield across to Casino then down.I have ridden the road from Tenterfield to Casino before and thought it was a good ride. I will have a week to get back so if you have any other suggestions on what to do for 4-5 days around North NSW feel free

Dont know if this fits your plans bundy but, meeting my bro at Marburg about lunch time 28th May for a 2 week ride down nsw, first few days will be over to Lindsay hwy, summerland way to casino then over to tenterfield, down to guyra then over to dorrigo then east to coffs and then head south ... what i would suggest to you is : continue down the new england hwy from tenterfield to guyra, then go across to dorrigo and down the range to bellingen, then turn around and go back to dorrigo (you will want to do that road again) but this time head to grafton via nymboidia, then left at grafton up to glen innis (must do), then, when you get back to tenterfield you can head down to casino if you wish and back home the hwy or up summerland way.
