The Road warrior leather jacket I ordered turned up today. Only trouble is I guessed on size and ordered an XL and as it turns out I really need an XXL due largely to the every growing roof over the toolshed! Jacket cost me just short of $200 once all fees and dollar conversions are taken into account so if anyone is after road warrior jacket in XL and your around that figure I will post to your door. PM me if interested

How do you find the jacket sizes? I owned a genuine reflective skull years ago which was a Large, but fitted like an XL or more... So if you took a large in a shirt what size would you be ordering?

only way to get the size right these days is to try on the same one you are going to buy. Size charts seem to keep changing all the time and different factories some how have different sizes. While all the harley gear is made in the same factory with out trying one on you have little idea what you need.

Just go to your local shop find the jacket you want to buy and try one on. Then go search for the price you are happy to pay.

Try alibaba.com - similar to dhgate. Received my jacket yesterday, 6 day delivery. It is identical to the one in the dealership, saved $350.

 

 

I bought mine on DH Gate, price in the Stealers was $800, DH Gate price $200 with free postage.

Exactly as the Stealers Jacket, made in the same factory, it was an overrun.

 

 I haven't recieved my jacket yet but i can tell you i might be saving a bit on a jacket but ive been paying top dollar for my bike and all the accesories ive bought to pretty her up. If i can save a little here and there on bits like that, then im happy. It just means the exhaust and tuner and Ac are a bit closer to getting.

 My jacket arrived today and i'm very impressed with the quality and fit of the jacket, and the time for delivery was 6 days. Its made of high quality soft leather with ventilation zips on the front and back, an inner pocket for phone or ipod, and another inner pocket for a wallet. The zips are good YKK brand that all work smoothly. Now its just a test of time to see how well it looks in a year.

So for me thats $220 well spent, on what was a very expensive jacket in the dealers.

Ha Firestorm,  I checked out King Jackets website, good priced jackets.  which one did you buy?  from your desription must be ok.  how is the padding and protection on elbows and shoulders?  is there any pockets for extra amour?? thanks  

 Hey Mark, the jacket i recieved is the dark tan colour with Harley Davidson across the front upper and on the back it has" Genuine Motorcycles" in a circular pattern around the "Harley Davidson Motor Cycle" centre emblem, all the zips are YKK with nice little harley tag thingys. Which are a good size to grab even with gloves on. There are no pockets in the sleeves or the shoulders or back to accept any padding, which is the only thing not right with jacket. It is more a light duty summer / spring jacket.. It has zippered ventilation front and back too. Very well put together nice stitching etc. i would check out there ads and ask a few questions about the armour. Ive got many jackets for wet weather, hot weather and inbetween weather also, this is a nice stylish jacket that i'll be happy to wear on my new bike.
